Relaciones taxonómicas
BDBV, EBOV, SUDV y TAFV se han asociado a enfermedad humana. La relación con RESTV o BOMV no permite equiparar su capacidad de producir enfermedad. Los orthomarburgvirus pertenecen a otro género de la misma familia.
Consecuencias para la práctica
Las autorizaciones de vacunas y anticuerpos dirigidos a EBOV no abarcan automáticamente BDBV. Las comparaciones clínicas entre brotes también necesitan ajustar definición de caso, población y atención.
Integrar el contexto clínico y epidemiológico y consultar el circuito asistencial correspondiente.
España: Seguir el protocolo nacional de abril de 2026 y coordinar las decisiones con Salud Pública.
