Evidencia y contexto
El tratamiento de paludismo, sepsis u otra causa frecuente no debe retrasarse mientras se investiga un posible filovirus. Un diagnóstico alternativo no excluye coinfección. Las pruebas se coordinan con procedimientos seguros.
Interpretación clínica
La enfermedad por BDBV comienza habitualmente como un síndrome sistémico y digestivo inespecífico; la clínica por sí sola no identifica la especie viral.
Mantener evaluación y tratamiento de causas alternativas con procedimientos seguros.
España: Aplicar el protocolo nacional de abril de 2026 y la valoración de Salud Pública autonómica; no importar restricciones de otra jurisdicción.
