Lectura de la cronología
El retraso entre circulación inicial y reconocimiento clínico afecta a la respuesta. En 2007 se investigaba un virus desconocido; en 2012 y 2026 seguía siendo difícil reconocer un síndrome que se solapa con infecciones frecuentes.
Alcance de las fechas
Las fechas retrospectivas de inicio pueden ser estimadas y no deben confundirse con el día de declaración. El corte de un informe fija hasta cuándo se contabilizan los casos; la publicación puede ocurrir después.
Integrar el contexto clínico y epidemiológico y consultar el circuito asistencial correspondiente.
